On Friday, October 6, Riverton Grange held its monthly meeting. Sister Shirley Moore’s 99th birthday was celebrated and Lecturer Raine Pedersen hosted a fun Halloween program. Final plans for the American School for the Deaf Awareness Event on October 30 – 31 was discussed. The Grange voted to meet only by Zoom for December – February and to host a Veterans Dinner on Saturday, November 25, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, at the Barkhamsted Senior Center. Four bags of non-perishable food items were gathered by member donations and will be taken to the Pleasant Valley Food Bank by Jackie Martin.
